Candy colored hair

 

Summer is gone but the trend of candy colored hair is still on.
The trend has been around for a while, Katie Perry and Nicky Minaj embraced bright colors for the past couple years. But the trend became more weareable when it switched from all over color to hair ends dip-dyed with pastel colors. Kelly Osbourne, Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have recently worn candy colored hair for the past few months.

I came across Harper's Bazaar magazine editorial "IN LIVING COLOR" by Terry Richardson.

I'm so happy to see these wonderful pictures spreading the word in pastel hair dye.

Modern bob haircut with ombre highlights

Today I had one of my favorite clients visit me at Safar Salon.

Paola is the most laid back, free spirited girl I know. She had gotten a pixie cut few months ago and was looking for something new. We finally got the length on the front we needed to create a look that will work with her natural wavy hair and no commitment hair color.

 

 

 

 

 

We did a little research and we got inspired from Olivia Wilde and Alexa Chung short hairstyles.

I gave her the timeless Bob with a modern twist, adding caramel-honey Ombre inspired highlights. A modern and fresh look that no doubt, she will be able to wear straight or wavy. I also applied a "Demi-permanent Colorance Goldwell" color on the top to cover few annoying grays, leaving super shiny and silky hair.

The fist time I walked in Safar Miami Salon, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I fell in love with it. From the ceiling to the floor, the perfect place for the warm Miami sun to shine through. You cannot ignore the decorative steel, the wood and onyx walls, the marble stairs. Safar salon is a perfect fit for the luxurious south beach.

We pride ourselves with great services and excellent costumer service. We were featured in Allure magazine's October issue as part of the "Hot Spots" of Miami Beach. Wooohoooo! Congrats to all my coworkers for the great job.

It's been almost two years since I left fabulous Newbury St, Boston to join Safar, and I could not be happier.
