Modern bob haircut with ombre highlights

Today I had one of my favorite clients visit me at Safar Salon.

Paola is the most laid back, free spirited girl I know. She had gotten a pixie cut few months ago and was looking for something new. We finally got the length on the front we needed to create a look that will work with her natural wavy hair and no commitment hair color.

We did a little research and we got inspired from Olivia Wilde and Alexa Chung short hairstyles.

I gave her the timeless Bob with a modern twist, adding caramel-honey Ombre inspired highlights. A modern and fresh look that no doubt, she will be able to wear straight or wavy. I also applied a "Demi-permanent Colorance Goldwell" color on the top to cover few annoying grays, leaving super shiny and silky hair.

The fist time I walked in Safar Miami Salon, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I fell in love with it. From the ceiling to the floor, the perfect place for the warm Miami sun to shine through. You cannot ignore the decorative steel, the wood and onyx walls, the marble stairs. Safar salon is a perfect fit for the luxurious south beach.

We pride ourselves with great services and excellent costumer service. We were featured in Allure magazine's October issue as part of the "Hot Spots" of Miami Beach. Wooohoooo! Congrats to all my coworkers for the great job.

It's been almost two years since I left fabulous Newbury St, Boston to join Safar, and I could not be happier.

I was cheking out this morning my October Glamour UK magazine and I realized I was wearing the color of the month. Thanks to my Color Club nail polish Insta-this, a deep cobalt blue, from my September BIRCHBOX. It looks awesome with my skin tone. I love it!

MAC PRO class

With a limited number of MAC PRO cosmetic stores around the globe, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, having a store 10 blocks away from home.
Even though we got mother’s nature son visiting, yeah, I’m talking about tropical storm Isaac, we were lucky enough that only 2 classes were cancelled.
While outside the wind and rain was hitting usually busy Lincoln Rd., inside MAC PRO store, we were attending “Colour Theory” . We were taken back to kindergarden class, playing with color pigments, and the power of RED, YELLOW and BLUE. It was a challenge to recreate my favorite lipstick color!
